MME’s Annual Auction & Dinner. Enchanted Forest
When: Saturday, March 11th, 2023, 5:30-10pm
Where: Veterans Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St., Davis
MME’s auction is our school’s biggest fundraiser. This event typically raises around 70% of the annual PTA (Parent Teacher Association) budget. Join us for a fun, adult only, evening including dinner, drinks, games, and both a silent and live auction!
Why is raising this money crucial for our school?
While every school receives federal and state funds, it is simply not enough to pay for all the programs we want for our students. Here is a sampling of what our PTA funds:
|-Math Nights & Literacy Nights||– Holiday Craft Night|
|-Reading Rodeo/Circulo books||– Teacher and Staff Appreciation Events|
|– Field trips for every grade||– Campus landscaping/beautification|
|– Gardening Program||– Montgomery Day (end of year school-wide event)|
|– Books for the library||– 6th Grade Outdoor Education overnight trip|
Money for each teacher to use for their own projects or to bring in local artists to work with their classes!
**Remember: our auction typically raises approximately 70% of PTA’s budget.
Without it, 70% of the programs listed above would no longer be funded by the PTA.***
How you can help:
- Save the date! Schedule your babysitter and prepare to have a great evening!
- Solicitations – Friends or business that you frequent are good places to start asking for donations.
- Volunteer — We need help with decorations, set-up and clean-up, checking attendees in and out at the event, auction games, and much more.
